Question: Can you think of a situation that you have been part of, one where there is an unwritten rule that almost everyone complies with, and nobody really knows why?
Again interesting, given it is trying to be controversial and satirical yet pointing out generalized notions about relationships and the intuitions we have about them. Most people don't go around categorizing others on what level of a ladder he or she is on.
